About the Author
Si Hidilyn Francisco Diaz ang kauna-unahang Filipina na nagwagi ng medalyang pilak sa Olympics sa palarong weightlifting na dominado ng mga lalaki. Dalawang beses na itinanghal na Sportsperson of the Year, ginawaran ng Ten Outstanding Young Men at Ten Outstanding Women in National Service Award. Tinitingala si Hidilyn bilang huwaran sa paggamit ng kaniyang husay, lakas, talino, at tatag upang matupad ang mataas na pangarap -- alay sa kadakilaan ng Diyos, ng bayan, at ng pamilya.
Si Eugene Y. Evasco ay propesor ng Malikhaing Pagsulat at Panitikan sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas - Diliman. May-akda siya ng mahigit walumpong aklat. Kasalukuyan siyang kolumnista ng magasing Liwayway at fellow ng Institute of Creative Writing. Nailuklok siya sa Hall of Fame ng Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Award for Literature noong 2009 at dalawang ulit na nagwagi ng Grand Prize sa PBBY-Salanga Writer's Prize at ng Best Short Story sa Catholic Mass Media Award.
